New York native, Denver resident Mark is a photojournalist, picture editor and photography educator.

His work has received recognition over 30 times in the major annual photojournalism contests, including Pictures of the Year, Best of Photojournalism and World Press International.

In 2003, Mark and his photo staff colleagues at the Rocky Mountain News earned the Pulitzer prize in breaking news photography for their six months of coverage of the wildfires that ravaged Colorado in the summer of 2002.

His current and future photography projects will focus on creating work to aid nonprofits and NGOs around the world.

2020 will see the introduction of Mark's mentoring workshops that will provide unique and unforgettable opportunities to photographers who want to use their skills and develop their storytelling abilities in support of humanitarian causes worldwide.
